Our clubs receive many types of donations that help support and enrich our members' experiences at our facilities. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mississippi Valley are so thankful to our Volunteers & Supporters, who generously donate their money, time, and/or services to our members. If you have any interest in volunteering please contact our administration office (email below). We have volunteers that teach cooking classes, puzzles with the kids, career explorations, art, dance, and much more. If you are interested or know anyone who may be interested, give us an email or call!

Volunteer Philosophy

Our Volunteers
actively and responsibly contribute hours of precious time and effort to serve our young members in an array of activities intended to enrich their lives, while concurrently providing them with a safe, nurturing, comfortable, and positive place to be.

Our Mission
"to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens" is the primary goal of our supportive, adult professional staff. However, our diverse and talented volunteers are an important component in our ongoing efforts and commitment to instill within our young members a sense of hope and opportunity, as we engage them in a variety of life-enhancing programs and character development experiences.

We have volunteers who work every day, several times a week, several times a month, once a month, once a year, and those who volunteer to work at special events and festivities. The opportunity to help us achieve our mission is always appreciated by the staff and members, alike, and we are delighted to accommodate your schedule.
